About Tracy
I ask myself the question : Who am I?

I was born in New Zealand, but have lived in London for 18 years and consider the UK home. In my life I am present to many roles including Mother, homemaker, friend and meditator, each reminding me to be with the flow and inevitability of change.
My background is in Fine Art and Architecture. Through this work I learnt the importance of a framework, the delight of authentic expression and the desire for a felt sense of place, home. I was first drawn to explore and create our external landscapes and the spaces we occupy. Led by life and personal exploration, I naturally expanded my enquiry into the internal landscapes of our bodies and minds. What I have learnt along the way is that that creativity and connection brings heart and meaning to our human experience.
For me Core Process Psychotherapy brings this all together allowing for a greater sense of harmony, deeper intimacy and healing our sense of separation through relatedness. In facing my own personal suffering, it has supported me in connecting to my broader nature, a truer, clearer sense of reality, the profound beauty, mystery and the giddy wonder of life. These difficult lived experiences have shaped me. Facing them has allowed me to remember, soften, open to the wild, untamed within, motivated me to do something and led me to a feeling of great joy, rooted in deep satisfaction. They are in my stride, in my voice and are with me compassionately in the work.
Our innate kinship with the suffering of others - our inability to continue to regard it from afar - is said to be the discovery of what the Buddha describes as Bodhichitta, our noble awakened heart. Pema Chödrön calls it our Soft Spot. She says that just as butter is inherent in milk, or oil is inherent in a sesame seed, this soft spot is inherent in you and me.
“If we surrendered to earth’s intelligence, we could rise up rooted like trees.” – Rainer Maria Rilke

We know ourselves be made from this earth.
We know this earth is made from our bodies.
For we are ourselves. And we are nature.
We are nature seeking nature. We are nature with a concept of nature. Nature weeping. Nature speaking of nature to nature.
